Dr. Ge completed her PhD training at Harvard University School of Medicine in Neuroscience and her postdoc training at Stanford University. She started her research group at UC Merced in 2017, and moved to UC Riverside in 2025. Dr. Ge is a recipient of multiple prestigious awards such as the Walter and Idun Berry Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford, the Warren & Chris Hellman foundation fellowship, and NSF CAREER award.
